These terms govern your use of the My Luxe Life website and any purchases made through it. By browsing or buying, you agree to the terms set out below. Please read them before you order.
1. About Us
My Luxe Life is a UK-based preloved luxury resale and consignment platform. We source, authenticate, and sell pre-owned designer pieces on behalf of consignors, as well as from our own curated inventory. References to "we," "us," or "our" mean My Luxe Life.
2. Our Products
All items listed on My Luxe Life are preloved unless explicitly stated otherwise. Every piece goes through our authentication process before being listed for sale. We describe condition as accurately as possible, and where relevant, condition notes are included in the product listing.
Photographs are taken of the actual item you will receive. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
We do not sell replicas, counterfeits, or items we are unable to authenticate. If we have any doubt about an item's authenticity, it will not be listed.
3. Pricing
All prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but any change will not affect an order you have already placed and we have confirmed.
4. Placing an Order
By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Your order is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion — for example, if an item has been sold simultaneously via another channel, or if a pricing error has occurred.
If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund within 5–7 working days.
5. Payment
We accept payment via the methods shown at checkout. Payment is taken at the point of order. All transactions are processed securely. We do not store your card details.
6. Shipping
We aim to dispatch orders within 2–3 working days of confirmed payment. Delivery timescales are estimates and not guaranteed. We use tracked, insured shipping for all orders. Risk of loss passes to you once the item has been delivered to your address.
For international orders, you are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees applicable in your country.
7. Returns & Refunds
We want you to love what you buy. If you change your mind, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to return an item for a refund, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Items must be returned in the same condition as received, unworn, and with all original packaging and authentication cards where applicable. We reserve the right to refuse a return if an item is returned in a different condition to how it was sent.
Return postage costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item is faulty or significantly not as described.
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 working days of us receiving and inspecting the return.
Please note: Sale items marked as final sale are non-refundable unless faulty.
8. Faulty or Misrepresented Items
If you believe an item is not as described, or that our authentication assessment was in error, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and a written description of your concern. We will review each case individually and, where a genuine error has been made, we will offer a full refund including return postage.
9. Consignment
If you consign items with us, a separate Consignment Agreement will govern the terms of that arrangement. By submitting items for consignment, you confirm that:
- You are the legal owner of the item, or are authorised to sell it
- The item is genuine and, to your knowledge, authentic
- The item has not been reported stolen
My Luxe Life reserves the right to decline any item for consignment at its discretion. We are not liable for items lost or damaged in transit to us — we recommend using tracked and insured postage.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including photography, copy, branding, and design — belongs to My Luxe Life or is used with permission. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any content without our written consent.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Luxe Life's liability in connection with any purchase or use of our website is limited to the value of the order in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
12. Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. Our Privacy Policy, available on our website, explains how we collect, use, and protect your data in accordance with UK GDPR.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
